Olib 2023
This year we mark 24 years of Waldorf International Family Summer Camp in Croatia. If you like to spend your summer vacation together with your children in a joyful, healthy and exciting sport and artistic activities, beautiful island Olib is a perfect destination. You will meet families from different countries united in the idea that holidays with their children are precious moments of togetherness in creating playful and meaningful activities. Your children will have the opportunity to meet children from different countries to communicate and develop an interest in others, their lifestyle and culture.
We invite you to be a part of this year family Waldorf Camp on island Olib.
Date
The camp will start on July 30th and end on August 13th.
Location
Olib is one of the most beautiful Croatian islands located in the Zadar archipelago. The first sight of the island can leave you breathless, as it fills you with peace, the smell of Mediterranean plants and the intense colour of the Adriatic. There is only one village on the island that dates back to Roman times, but has many lovely and hidden coves, as well as the wide, sandy and shallow beaches offering great opportunities for swimming, boating and playing.
There are no cars and the island has a quiet, relaxing and friendly atmosphere. There are a few restaurants, a bar, a shop, a post office, an exchange office and a tourist board office. Sports and recreation enthusiasts can enjoy the cycling and jogging trails, as well as beach volleyball and basketball.
Activities
This year we’re going to have the following workshops:
– sailing boats
– relaxing yoga in the pine woods
– beautiful canvas painting and shaping natural materials
– circus for children and youth (adults who realized that growing up is a trap can join)
– playing instruments and singing chamber music
– water activities like sailing, swimming instructions and standup paddling!
– dancing evenings
– wood, stone and gastronomy workshops

To join this year’s Waldorf Camp please fill out our registration form, this is necessary for your participation:
Accommodation on Olib is very limited, which makes this island even more beautiful and never crowded. However, this causes some problems to the organizers—we can never accept all of our participants, since apartments which are pre-booked for our camp get occupied very quickly.
Be sure to book on time, by May 15th.
